The Seekers is an innovative approach to life’s journey, especially designed for older teens and young adults, developed by LeaderResources (the group responsible for the Journey to Adulthood youth ministry program). Here at Ascension, it’s the place for senior high students (grades 9-12) to come together week by week and enjoy Christian community.
The emphasis of The Seekers is not doctrinal instruction, Bible teaching, or information-giving. Rather, the whole group (leaders and participants alike) discover, wonder and reflect together on their lives as Christians, focusing on four major areas: Faith, Life, Self, and Values.
Join us each Sunday morning from 9:02-9:50 am in the Daniels Room, facing the church’s main courtyard (it’s the one with the comfy couches). Friends, guests, and strangers are always welcome: hospitality is one of the most central aspects of following Jesus. We also have occasional special events outside Sunday mornings.
